Jessica Brockie (Jes)
Speech-Language Pathologist
B. Sp Path., CPSP., MSPA.
If you ask Jes why she chose a career in Speech Pathology, she'll tell you that it was because it combined her two biggest loves - eating and talking!
Jes completed her Speech Pathology degree with James Cook University in 2008. From there, she spent many years providing services in the adult acute, rehabilitation and aged-care space within hospitals and private practice environments throughout Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.
After returning to Australia in 2020 with a young family of her own, Jes changed her focus to paediatric care and now spends her days engaging with the next generation of communicators targeting speech, language, voice, fluency as well as feeding concerns. Jes has a particular interest in literacy, stuttering and supporting school-aged students.

Jes prides herself on embracing neurodiversity and strives to provide neurodiversity affirming practice. She is passionate about continuing her education and ongoing development of her professional skills in order to provide high quality, evidence-based services for her clients. Jes aims to work closely with families to ensure therapy success both within and outside the clinic environment.

Jes is a Certified Practicing Speech Pathologist and is registered with Speech Pathology Australia.
